I am a 20 years old man, male pattern baldness at the front. My doctor told me to use to get back my hair rogaine .. but this should be a foam or liquid? and why?

You should not for this product. It feels so good, or so little, in any form. In other words, do nothing, unless your doctor and pharmacist richer. If it prove to you for everything, then. But do not waste your money - if not do you much.
One thing you can do to prevent hair loss ... and it is too late.
